How To Track Your Factory Order:

Throughout the process, you can always touch base with your Sales Representative for an update or have any questions answered.

At the same time, you can utilize online tools to track your own vehicle by using your order confirmation number, which you can find in your ordering paperwork, along with the last name or business name it was submitted with.

Ford has its own tracking website where you can check your order status at any time:

NOTE: While you can see the stage of your vehicle, it may not always be indicative of the length of time each step will take.

Below are the order status stages that tell you where your vehicle is at in the process.

Order Confirmed — Your factory order has been submitted by Nick Mayer Ford and received by Ford Motor Company. Your order is in the system and awaiting scheduling.

Not Yet Scheduled — Ford has received your order, but a production week has not yet been assigned. Your vehicle is in the queue and waiting for an available production slot. It is not uncommon for your vehicle to stay in this phase for some time – especially for high-demand models like the Bronco or Super Duty.

Scheduled — Your vehicle has been assigned a production week. This means Ford has committed to building your vehicle and you now have a target build date.

In Production — Your vehicle is actively being built on the assembly line at the Ford plant.

Built — Your vehicle has completed the production process and has passed Ford's quality inspection at the plant. A VIN number has been assigned.

Awaiting Shipment — Your vehicle has been released to the carrier. It is staged at the plant and waiting to be loaded onto a truck or rail car for transport.

In Transit / Shipped — Your vehicle is on its way to Nick Mayer Ford. Depending on which Ford plant built your vehicle, transit can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks by truck or rail.

Delivered to Dealer — Vehicle has made it to Nick Mayer Ford and is waiting for the PDI process.

When your vehicle arrives at Nick Mayer Ford, one of our General Manager will contact you to find a good time to have conversations about final financing, taking delivery of the vehicle, and any other open-ended items that may need to be covered.
